Bloodborne Pathogens

OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens standard prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood, and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM), and to reduce their risk from this exposure. Workers exposed to Bloodborne Pathogens could be at risk for serious, or life-threatening illnesses. This Bloodborne Pathogens training is designed to provide workers who can reasonably be anticipated to come in contact with blood, or OPIM, as a result of performing their job duties, the skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
